UK Recruitment & Events
The UK Recruitment & Events team are responsible for managing the University's relationship with UK schools and colleges, and delivering a series of undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment events. The team are also responsible for managing the organisation of university wide undergraduate and postgraduate open days, campus tour days, support for academic UCAS visit days and implementing the University's schools liaison strategy.
Undergraduate recruitment
The undergraduate recruitment team is responsible for the recruitment of UK undergraduate students. International and EU recruitment is handled by the International Office.
Our core activities consist of:

Attendance at UCAS HE Fairs throughout the UK

Schools liaison activity - working closely with the Widening Participation team to develop relationships with UK Schools and Colleges

University-wide open days

Series of campus tour days

Annual careers advisers' and teachers' conferences in Nottingham and London

Enquiry management through the Enquiry Centre

Direct marketing with enquirers and schools and colleges

Internal support and 'consultancy' for academic Schools including advice on recruitment activity and support for UCAS visit days
Postgraduate recruitment
The postgraduate recruitment team is responsible for the recruitment of postgraduate students to the University.
Our core activities consist of:

Attendance at Postgraduate Study and Careers Fairs throughout the UK

Organisation of a University wide postgraduate taught event for offer holders

Internal support and 'consultancy' for academic Schools including advice on recruitment activity
Open days
Each year the University hosts University-wide open days. These events are usually held in June and September and are designed to allow visitors to find out more about the courses on offer and what it's really like to study at Nottingham.
The open days are significant events in the annual calendar and attract some 35,000 visitors each year.
If prospective students have missed the annual open days they may be interested in visiting a campus tour day, these are smaller events run on a monthly basis. For more information on campus tours please contact the Enquiry Centre.
