Ambition Nottingham is a free scheme for local post-16 students from under-represented backgrounds. The aim of the scheme is to support entry to The University of Nottingham, or other research intensive universities, by offering a range of experiences and opportunities.
Year 1 - Ambition Nottingham: Insight
The first year of activities consists of masterclasses, subject taster days and information workshops, which will provide students and their families with an insight into their higher education options and help them make important decisions about their future.
Year 2 - Ambition Nottingham: Achievement
The second year of the scheme provides students with revision, skills and personal development sessions, as well as a supported admissions process to The University of Nottingham.
