We offer a range of activities for schools and colleges in an area roughly within commuting distance of the University. Priority is given to those schools that meet more of the criteria given in the HEFCE guidance on targeting learners from disadvantaged groups. For these schools, activities are available for all year groups from Year 7 to Year 13 (or equivalent).
Onsite outreach activities can be arranged, by negotiation, for any interested post-16 Aimhigher cohort from across the country. Details of the activities available are given in the menu on the left.
Other activities, such as masterclasses and summer schools, are open to students attending as individuals rather than as part of a school/college group. These activities may have differing qualifying criteria.
How to... A workshop to introduce higher education and show students how to research universities, courses, finance etc. Campus Visit A 3, 4 or 5 hour visit to the University Campus. Pupils will be introduced to HE with a campus tour and interactive activities.
