As a research-led institution, the University of Nottingham recognises the value and contribution of early career researchers as essential to delivering its ambitious, high-quality research agenda.
Over the last ten years, the Anne McLaren Fellowships for female researchers in STEM subjects, and latterly the Nottingham Advance Research Fellowships, have attracted outstanding researchers across a range of disciplines to the University. To date, the two-year Fellowship programmes have provided over 50 Early Career Researchers a strong basis from which to develop their research careers.
The University has prioritised further development and investment into a framework of global early career research fellowships: The Nottingham Research Fellowships.
