Results of the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network's PATCH II trial were presented by Dr Vaughan Keeley on behalf of the PATCH trial team.
The trial, which was funded by the Bupa foundation, evaluates the use of prophylactic antibiotics for the prevention of cellulitis of the leg and is the largest study of its kind to date.
