The Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology is delighted to say that the CLOTHES trial is going from strength to strength and target recruitment for the initial 6-month pilot phase is now complete. We are grateful to everyone who has volunteered to take part in the study, and for the dedication and enthusiasm of the entire study team.
Families will continue to be enrolled into the study for a further 12 months, with the aim of recruiting 300 families in total.
CLOTHES is a clinical trial involving 300 children with moderate or severe eczema. It has been designed to evaluate the role of specialist clothing in the management of eczema.
