Prof Pip Logan wins Patient Dignity & Experience Award in inaugural East Midlands Innovation in Healthcare Awards

 

Congratulations to Professor Pip Logan's team who won the Patient Dignity & Experience Award in the inaugural East Midlands Innovation in Health Awards organised by the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN).

The team were awarded for their "GtACH" programme which judges said showed clear evidence of its effectiveness and gave a good example of partners working together to improve the patient experience.

GtACH stands for Guide to Action Care Home fall prevention programme in old age care homes, providing advice, training and resources to help care home staff assess the risks of falls and take preventative action.
