A one-day symposium
Recent research in corpus linguistics is pushing the boundaries of the discipline towards more and more interdisciplinary applications.
This one-day symposium allows postgraduate students and early-career researchers to present applications of corpus linguistic methods in their interdisciplinary research.
Postgraduate Symposium 'Corpus Linguistics beyond Boundaries: Interdisciplinary Application' (Nottingham, 10 July 2015)
This one-day symposium accords with this burgeoning enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research and aims to showcase innovative applications of corpus linguistics beyond its traditional boundaries. Papers are invited for this symposium. We are particularly looking for contributions that (i) embrace interdisciplinarity and (ii) illustrate such interactions through specific analysis.
The plenary speaker will be Professor Paul Baker from Lancaster University.
