Description

Professor James Moran (English, University of Nottingham), Professor Fintan Cullen (Art History, University of Nottingham), collaborated with theatre director, Sarah Stevenson and students of Hall Park Academy to put together ‘The Sherwood Foresters of 1916’,  a play about the hidden history of the Sherwood Foresters who fought during the Easter Rising of 1916.


Lakeside Arts hosted the performance at Djanogly Theatre this 7th October 2017 at 7:30 pm.


‘The Sherwood Foresters of 1916’ is part of a University of Nottingham School of English research project supported by AHRC Centre for Hidden Histories.
