Seminar: 'Literature in care homes: shared reading as a non-medical intervention for people with dementia

Kevin will examine the phenomenon of shared reading, how shared reading might work in a care home and help to lessen the symptoms of dementia - including what type of literary texts are able to achieve certain aims and are most useful/appropriate in such a context.
