Energy for businesses
Businesses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire can access funded support for energy projects from the University of Nottingham as a result of a £3.2m programme supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
The Energy Innovation and Collaboration team has a mission to enable businesses to innovate and adopt sustainable and renewable energy technologies and is able to help businesses access world-class expertise in the energy sector.

The Energy Innovation and Collaboration team is ideally placed to forge links between businesses and world-class academics, researchers and graduate talent throughout the energy field at the university.; while close links to the Energy Research Accelerator (ERA) a Government backed initiative designed to tackle some of the biggest energy challenges facing the UK, allows unprecedented access to the best energy research expertise and facilities across the Midlands.
The ETC6 project is worth £3.2m, with funding coming from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and The University of Nottingham.
