The conference “Human Factors in Complex Systems” will remember Professor John Wilson’s work by gathering together a number of his colleagues and running a series of invited presentations, submitted short papers, panel discussions and workshops. The conference will take place on June 10 and 11 at the National College, Nottingham.
Papers can cover domains including transport, healthcare and advanced technologies, or could look at challenges associated with human factors/ergonomics implementation in general.
Particular themes include the challenges of design and implementation of complex systems, systems perspective, participation and collaboration, mental models, requirements specification, evaluation of human factors interventions and methods for translating theory into practice.
Papers can take the form of novel human factors research contributions, practice-based case studies, or critiques of theories and methods.
