Nottingham Eye Symposium and Research Meeting
The meeting is a unique opportunity for the dissemination and discussion of cutting-edge basic science and clinical ophthalmic research.
In the morning the meeting welcomes research trainee abstract presentations (oral and poster) from ophthalmologists, optometrists and visual scientists of all levels. Clinical and basic science research presentations take place, along with 'In the Pipeline' presentations from selected sponsors.
The afternoon symposium starts with the Norman Galloway Lecture, given by an eminent internationally respected speaker (TBC). This continues with presentations from other eminent ophthalmologists, optometrists and scientists.
This meeting has been awarded 6 CPD points from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Previous Symposia
The 16th Nottingham Eye Symposium and Research Meeting took place on Friday 27th January 2012. The morning symposium 'Practical Tips for a Plethora of Plastic Procedures' hosts eminent international speakers and the Norman Galloway Lecture, this year to be given by Professor Irene Gottlob, University of Leicester, UK.
