Research within the Division of Orthopaedic and Accident Surgery focuses on four main areas: Orthopaedic Biology Biomaterials related infection Sports and Exercise Medicine Biomechanics There are dedicated research laboratories within the Division. Staff also conduct research in other laboratories within the Medical School, the School of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture and Nottingham City Hospital. The Division also collaborates with other researchers from a wide variety of backgrounds both within and outside the University of Nottingham.
