Research Summary

Current research has been centred around angiogenesis and its influence on the persistence of inflammation in arthritis. Publications relating to this are in preparation/submission.

Future Research

We have just been appointed as the Arthritis Research Campaign National Pain Centre. We will use a multidiciplinary approach to the central problem to be addressed, that is the source and treatment of pain in Osteoarthritis. I will be employed at the preclinical discovery level with the remit of identifying sources and treatment targets of pain in OA
