    School Disability Liaison Officer

The University of Nottingham is committed to promoting access for students who have a disability, dyslexia and/or a long-term medical condition and to provide services that enable students to complete their course of study as independently as possible. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure the University is aware of his/her individual requirements and therefore students are encouraged to inform the School and the Disability Liaison Officer for the School (see below) as soon as possible. Early disclosure can assist in ensuring the timely provision of appropriate support services.

The School Disability Liaison Officer Andrea Greener is the first point of contact on disability issues within the School and will be able to give you information about the specialist support services available and liaise with those services on your behalf or refer you, as appropriate. You can contact the DLO at any time on telephone number 0115 8231000 (QMC internal extension 31000) for advice and assistance.

A source of useful information is the Student Services Centre who provide specific services for dyslexic students and provide support for students with other disabilities in liaison with the Disability Policy Advisory Unit and Academic Support .

Please see the University's Disability Statement for more information.
