Aqua Fit Classes

Aqua Fit is aerobics in the water. It uses the resistance of the water to give you an all over body work out. It's also kinder to your joints and muscles with minimal impact when you're moving in the water.

Water exercise doesn’t get much more inclusive than Aquafit. Virtually anybody can take part. There is a session suitable for all needs, even people who can’t swim.

We are not currently running any Aqua Fit classes. Please check back here to find out more information about when these classes will resume.

For an overview of what our aqua fit classes involve please go to our class description pages.

Swimfit

Swimming is one of the best ways to get fit. There is probably no better non-impact cardiovascular workout than a swim to work off calories and tone muscles. But sometimes it's difficult to motivate yourself to keep going back.

To help you back in to the pool this year we are linking in to the Amateur Swimming Associations - Swimfit initiative.

Swimfit is an online club which provides you with a gym style programme for the pool, with four key focus areas:

  • Health
  • Shape up and tone
  • Fitness
  • Competitive
