Members notice: Squash Courts Upgrades

The project to install the glass back courts at Jubilee Sports Centre and Sutton Bonington Sports Centre has been progressing well. We intially expected both courts to be re-opened on Saturday 30 September, however due to additional work and building delays the courts at both Sports Centres will be closed for slightly longer than expected.

The courts at Sutton Bonington Sports Centre are due to re-open on Thursday 5 October at 7.30am and the courts at Jubilee Sports Centre, will be closed for an additional week, due to re-open on Saturday 7 October

These upgrades are to provide a greater experience for participants and spectators. The improvements include the removal of existing walls at ground and first-floor level to enable installation of glass walls to the courts and glass balustrades along the viewing gallery.

We’re confident this exciting development will have a positive impact on play, spectating and coaching whilst providing members with a modern squash experience when attending our facilities.

We recognise that this represents an inconvenience to members but are confident this development will provide a significantly improved long-term experience for squash players.

The squash courts at the David Ross Sports Village will still be available to access during these periods.
