Our work

The University of Nottingham has schools and colleges liaison staff dedicated to providing a comprehensive schools and colleges liaison service.

We work in partnership with schools, colleges, careers advisers and the wider community, raising awareness of higher education and The University of Nottingham in particular.

Our UK schools and colleges liaison team supports activities in schools and colleges throughout the United Kingdom. Presentations and onsite visits are generally aimed at sixth form students in Year 12, although we also offer activities aimed at students in Years 11 and 13.

Schools Liaison activities

The services listed here are provided free of charge.

For advisors...

We offer an extensive range of presentations and activities for teachers and careers advisors. Our activities aim to inform participants about the University as well as providing an opportunity to meet our schools liaison staff and network with other schools from around the UK.

Our Nottingham and London conferences are key events for teachers and advisors.

For students...

Our team provides a variety of activities for school and college groups who are considering higher education. We offer events based at our campuses in Nottingham and can also visit your students at their school or college. We currently have links with schools as far apart as Bristol, London, Newcastle, Belfast and the Isle of Man, and welcome enquiries from all over the United Kingdom.
