Working in the UK after you complete your studies is a great opportunity to launch your graduate career and gain valuable experience which will impress future employers worldwide.
There are several visa options for international graduates who wish to pursue a career in the UK after graduation, including the Tier 2 (General) visa for graduate jobs. This visa would be sponsored by your graduate employer, providing that they are on the UK Visas and Immigration recognised list of sponsors.
The Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa is available for students who are inspired to start a new business within the UK. Nottingham's Ingenuity Lab, in partnership with the International Office, runs a Graduate Entrepreneur visa scheme, sponsoring Tier 1 visas for international students graduating from Nottingham who have a viable business plan.
