All applicants must be a current student at an overseas university or college of higher education and have completed at least one year of study at their home institution. The minimum academic requirement is a GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent).
Applicants from non–English speaking countries must submit evidence of English language proficiency at the time of application. Our minimum entry requirements are shown in the following table. These requirements are for September 2016 entry.

If you need to improve your English language score prior to your study period at Nottingham, you can take a presessional English course at our Centre for English Language Education.
Please be aware that Schools may have higher requirements for postgraduate research projects.

Study abroad students who wish to study in the Department of Architecture and Built Environment within the Faculty of Engineering must submit a portfolio of their recent work on CD together with their application that will be assessed by the Department's academic coordinator. This portfolio should be sent to the International Office together with your supporting documents.
