"The Students’ Union is here to enable you to fulfil your potential, help you meet your aspirations and have the most incredible time at University. We’ll help you to do that with countless opportunities to get involved in volunteering, sports teams, a wide variety of events and a huge range of societies" Will Vickers, Students’ Union President 2010/11

The Freshers' Fair takes place during Week One. New students get the chance to grab some free stuff and find out about all the Students’ Union’s sports clubs, societies, student-run services, representation and more.
