About

The Sino-UK Geospatial Engineering Centre, which develops geospatial information research to solve key scientific issues for both countries, is one of only 20 research collaborations in the world to have been awarded International Joint Research Centre status by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.

The centre could promote innovation and technology transfer, leadership training, and staff and student exchange. It explores funding opportunities and new project work, integrating resources to support long-term collaboration; and it will act as a world-leading incubation centre to realise beneficial combinations of research and development, production and commercialisation.
