Open Garden pictures
Dame Elizabeth Fradd, Vice-President of the University Council, hosted an Open Garden Evening on Saturday 30 June 5pm-8pm to support Nottingham Life Cycle 2.
Experts were on hand to answer questions about the garden and over £1,000 was raised for Nottingham Potential.
With the Nottingham Leg Ride for cycling enthusiasts and the Community Life Cycle for young or less-experienced riders plus the Lakeside Loop, a community stroll for those who prefer to keep two feet on the ground, there will be something for everyone, as well as post-event celebrations at University Park.

Greenways comprises an acre of varied, mature garden which has been nurtured over the last 25 years. The working part of the garden includes a large vegetable patch, rotating compost bins, greenhouses, and fruit trees. Rockeries, herbaceous borders, a rose garden and small enclosed areas such as the white garden and one dedicated to sick children all help to provide a unique experience.
The garden is surrounded on three sides by fields which helps provide a haven for those who rest in it, hard work for those who toil in it and joy for those who play in it.
