The University of Nottingham created the College of Benefactors in 1998 to pay public recognition to the University’s greatest supporters during the Golden Jubilee Campaign. more...
College of Benefactors have donated a cumulative lifetime amount of over £250,000. The first four members were admitted in July 1998 and we now have over 25 members including individuals, organisations and trusts. The College is now established as a permanent body.

keep donors informed of the way we intend to use donated resources, and to ensure that the donations are used for their intended purposes
inform donors of the impact of their giving to Nottingham and of the University’s evolving needs and priorities
enable donors to have access to the University’s most recent published financial accounts via the Global Report
assure all supporters and donors that their right to privacy will be respected and that there will be full compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998
send appropriate acknowledgment, recognition, and publicity to donors for their support in consultation with the donor, and to respect anonymity if requested
keep donors up to date on recruitment and appointment if an academic post has been supported and in the case of specific financial support for students, we will undertake to inform and involve the donor as appropriate
