Welcome!
Trent & Peak Archaeology is the
longest established archaeological unit in the East Midlands with a
forty year history of managing the past. We have unrivalled experience
of the Trent Valley, Peak District and neighbouring regions and can
offer a comprehensive range of archaeological services tailored to meet
the needs of our clients. Trent & Peak Archaeology has a large client
base including corporate and small client developers, local authorities,
and national bodies such as English Heritage and the Environment Agency.
Trent & Peak Archaeology has a significant reputation for excellence
in commercial archaeology. We provide strong support for clients through
all stages of the planning process and our services are carried out
with maximum efficiency and minimum disruption to the clients’
business activities. We have experience of a wide range of large and
small-scale rural and urban projects, and are considered a market leader
for archaeological services to quarry companies in Nottinghamshire,
Derbyshire and beyond.
Trent & Peak Archaeology is part of the University of Nottingham
and our university base provides access to an exceptional range of specialist
scientific, consultancy and professional services. We provide research
services and carry out a wide range of research projects with funding
from bodies such as English Heritage and local authorities. Trent &
Peak Archaeology actively contribute to the teaching and research activity
of the University and are committed to supporting community archaeology
in the region.
