Brewhouse Yard Brewhouse Yard is the name given to an area at the bottom of castle rock, which is now home to The Museum of Nottingham Life.  In the medieval period the area was known as the ‘rock yard’, most probably because of the rock cut dwellings in castle rock.  Brewhouse Yard Caves  - cave BG2
