Hand & Heart, Pub & Gallery
As you walk in to the Hand & Heart
immediately you can see exposed sandstone
that has been cut to form a series of rooms,
passageways and a cellar.
The long rectangular cave stretching back
from behind the bar is currently used as a
seating area lit by candles and fairy lights. A
sandstone passageway leads from this cave up
to a small outside courtyard/storage area.
Sandstone is also visible in the gentlemans
toilet! You can read more about the Hand &
Heart caves by clicking here.
