Course overview
This course is the same as BSc Agricultural and Crop Science (D409), except for an extra year studying abroad as your third academic year. The additional language skills, experience and maturity gained can provide a considerable employment advantage in a competitive job market.
Year two
Prior to placement, students undertake a special European module (including language study) to improve their knowledge of the scientific and cultural aspects of their chosen country.
Year three: study abroad
This additional year offers students the opportunity to continue studying agriculture at one of our partner institutions in mainland Europe, in the language of the host institution.

Entry requirements
A levels: ABB-BBC, at least two science subjects at A level (which can include maths and/or geography)and an additional A level or equivalent.
English language requirements
IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element)
TOEFL iBT 87 (no less than 21 in listening and writing, 22 in reading and 23 in speaking)
