Travelling by Car
University Park Campus -
from the M1
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 24, 25 or 26 as appropriate and follow road signs to Nottingham then the AA road signs to The University of Nottingham Open Day.
University Park Campus -
from the city centre
Follow signs to the Queen's Medical Centre, then follow directions on the AA road signs for the University entrances.

Car parking
Free open day car parking is available at various points around the campus.
Please enter University Park Campus and follow directions to the open day car parking, highlighted in yellow on the open day programme map.
Parking marshals and security staff will be able to guide you.
Toilets are available in Florence Boot Hall and Nightingale Field which are near the parking areas.
Once parked, you do not need to formally register. Staff and student helpers are on hand at information points to guide you in the right direction. Alternatively, please make your way directly to the open day activities.
Please be aware we receive a high volume of visitors on the open days and we therefore advise you allow plenty of time for your journey as traffic can be busy.
Travelling by train
Please alight at Nottingham (NOT) train station.
Free direct shuttle bus service
You can use the free direct shuttle bus service running from Nottingham Train Station to University Park Campus between 8am-5.30pm.
When you arrive at Nottingham Train Station, please exit via the main station foyer and turn right onto Station Road where coaches will be waiting to take you to University Park.
The journey time is approximately 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. We advise you allow plenty of time for your journey as services can be very busy during peak times – 8am-10am in the morning and 2.30pm-5pm, for return travel.
The last bus back to Nottingham Train Station leaves University Park at 5.30pm, from the open day shuttle bus terminal on East Drive.
Travelling by plane
From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles):
From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink Bus, which will take you to Nottingham (NOT) train station. From there, you can use the free direct shuttle bus service.
Alternatively, a taxi from the airport will cost approximately £20 (single/one way). Taxis are normally available 24 hours.
Accessible minibus for visitors with access requirements
There is an accessible minibus available to transport visitors around University Park Campus between 8.30am-4pm.
