Please click on the relevant links for activities based at Jubilee and Sutton Bonington campuses. Please note car parking for Jubilee Campus is on University Park Campus. Free shuttle bus services run frequently between all campuses.

Travelling by Car
Important Travel Information Friday 11 September
Day 6 of The Tour of Britain will be passing by University Park North entrance at around 2.45pm; this will mean closure to traffic of around 15-30 minutes. Why not take the opportunity to cheer the riders on as they make their way to the finish line! University Park Campus -
from the M1
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 25 to join the A52, signposted to Nottingham. Follow the A52 to Nottingham for approximately four miles and then follow the directions below to the West or North, depending on your subject of interest. There are other exits to Nottingham from the M1. However, we recommend you follow the above which is the most direct route to the University from both the M1 north and M1 south.
West entrance - for visitors interested in arts, law and social science subjects
At the Toby Cavery roundabout, turn right on to the A6464, Woodside Road. Turn left at the next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.
North Entrance - for visitors interested in science, engineering, medicine and health sciences and subjects
At the Toby Carvery roundabout, take the second exit continuing on the A52, Derby Road. At the Queen's Medical Centre roundabout, take the fourth exit and then take the first left to enter the University's North entrance.
University Park Campus -
from the city centre
Follow signs to the Queen's Medical Centre, then follow directions on the AA road signs for the University entrances.

University Park Campus –
Free open day car parking is available at various points around the campus.
Please enter University Park Campus and follow directions to the open day car parking, highlighted in yellow on the open day programme map.
Parking marshals and security staff will be able to guide you.
Once parked, you do not need to formally register. Staff and student helpers are on hand at information points to guide you in the right direction. Alternatively, please make your way directly to the open day activities.
Please be aware we receive a high volume of visitors on the open days and we therefore advise you allow plenty of time for your journey as traffic can be busy. University Boulevard is also subject to continuing road works in relation to the extension of the tram service so this could also add time to your journey.
Travelling by train
Please alight at Nottingham (NOT) train station.
Free direct shuttle bus service
You can use the free direct shuttle bus service running from Nottingham Train Station to University Park Campus between 8am-5.30pm.
There will be student helpers available to assist you when you arrive at the station.
The journey time is approximately 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. We advise you allow plenty of time for your journey as services can be very busy during peak times – 8am-10am in the morning and 2.30pm-5pm, for return travel.
It should also be noted that due to road works in the vicinity of University Park Campus (owing to the installation of a new tram line) journey's to and from the city may take significantly longer (up to 20/30 minutes).
The last bus back to Nottingham Train Station leaves University Park at 5.30pm, from the open day shuttle bus terminal on East Drive.
Travelling by plane
From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles):
From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink Bus, which will take you to Nottingham (NOT) train station. From there, you can use the free direct shuttle bus service.
Alternatively, a taxi from the airport will cost approximately £20 (single/one way). Taxis are normally available 24 hours.
Accessible minibus for visitors with access requirements
There is an accessible minibus available to transport visitors around University Park Campus between 8.30am-4pm.
