UK Society for Biomaterials Annual Conference 2012

The 11th UK Society for Biomaterials (UKSB) Conference is being held at The University of Nottingham on 27 and 28 June 2012.  This important national event is being organised by members of the Bioengineering Group - Dr Colin Scotchford, Professor David Grant, Dr Alastair Campbell Ritchie and Dr Ifty Ahmed.  The meeting is expected to attract over 100 delegates from across the UK and beyond.

The 2-day meeting is aimed at providing a forum where those interested in biomaterials, from whatever perspective, can meet and discuss their work.  The programme comprises both invited keynote lectures and submitted contributions from across the sphere of biomaterials and related activities.  The meeting particularly aims to provide an opportunity for postgraduate students to present their work and discuss its significance in a multidisciplinary and supportive environment.
