If you're an enterprising student, university run facilities such as the EnterpriseLab are only one side of the coin. The University of Nottingham is fortunate to have a number of very active student managed societies which are always looking for new members to contribute.
Nottingham Entrepreneurs is the Student Union affiliated entrepreneurship society at the university. They run numerous events, including workshops, competitions and lectures from successful entrepreneurs as well as NEF - their annual conference. The video below is from last year's event.
To learn more and to get involved visit Nottingham Entrepreneurs web site or their Facebook page.
SIFE is an international organisation that mobilises university students around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. More than 30,000 students participate in SIFE. They represent 1,800 universities in more than 47 countries. SIFE Nottingham is the team from the University of Nottingham. They have won the UK National Championship four times in the last five years and gone on to represent the UK in the World Championship with great success.
The team initiates, manages and develops business projects in both the local and international community to maximise business opportunity, and help others to realise their potential.
