Simon Amess


Simon joined Council in August 2016 and is also a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Strategy Delivery Board.

He is an Economics graduate from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Simon joined Lloyds Banking Group from PwC in 1999 and has undertaken a variety of other leadership roles across the business.  in 2011, he was appointed as Chief Risk Officer of Lloyds International in Australia and played a lead role in the business divestment to Westpac Corporation.  In early 2014 he repatriated to the UK to take up his current role as Risk Division Change Director.

Simon and his family live in Hertfordshire.
