The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science has been ranked as the best vet school in the country in the National Student Survey (NSS).
Having received its accreditation this year it is the first time the Nottingham vet school has been able to participate in the survey. Of the UK’s seven vet schools it topped the survey for teaching, personal development and overall satisfaction.
The annual NSS asks students from every higher education provider in the UK to rate their educational experience across 22 question areas.
The school was ranked joint first for organisation and management and learning resources.
Professor Gary England, Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, said “It is very encouraging that the Nottingham vet school has received such good results in our first year of the NSS. It is a testament to the staff of the School who have put so much effort into developing, delivering and supporting our veterinary course”
