Quality Assurance Officer, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
I am the Quality Assurance and Disability Liaison Officer in the Vet School.
My responsibilites within my roles are:
· Organising rooms, timings and invigilators for all formative and summative exams for the school. · Standard setting of the questions to be used within exam papers. · Format all written exam papers. · Keeping up to date and accurate records of teaching delivered ready for the RCVS visit for accreditation. · Arrange for student evaluations of teaching, working with students and academic staff. · Quality check exam results pre publication. · Keep the module specifications accurate and in line with teaching and assessment delivery. · Deal with any disability issues that arise with staff and students. · Implement any reasonable adjustments for students for teaching and exams. · Carry out risk assessments with students as and when required. · Work closely with the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Team to make sure any deadlines are met by the team. · Provide support to students with disabilities. · Active member of TLA, SSFC, EC and Exam Board committees
My line manager is Kay Millward in the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Department.
