Nevi Parameswaran obtained a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Biology and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. She then undertook a Doctorate of Philosophy in Veterinary Science at Murdoch University. The title of her PhD project was "Toxoplasma gondii in Australian marsupials".
Nevi Parameswaran in a Post Doctorate Research Fellow working under the research theme of Animal Infection and Immunity in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at the Sutton Bonington Campus of the University of Nottingham.
Nevi Parameswaran is undertaking research on the pathogenesis of Malignant Catarrhal Fever under the supervision of Prof David Haig.
