Sarah Ambler graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 1988 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She worked for 17 years as a veterinary surgeon in a mixed practice in rural Staffordshire. In 2005 she left to join an out-of-hours emergency clinic in Stoke-on-Trent, where she currently works.
Sarah gained a Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology, awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, in 1995. She runs a veterinary dermatology referral service to several veterinary practices in and around Staffordshire.
Sarah Ambler took up the position of part-time University Teacher at the School of Veterinary Medicine & Science in December 2006. This involves facilitating clinical relevance sessions with small groups of students.
