Fair Trade Chocolate and the Halo Effect
Can two little words -- "fair trade" -- make you think that some brands of chocolate are healthier than others? Cal State Northridge psychology professor Jonathon Schuldt, in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Michigan and the University of Grenoble, attempted to answer that question in a study analyzing the effects of food labels and personal bias in decision-making. Hailey Graves reports.
