His Excellency Namik Tan was appointed the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the United States in February 2010. Prior to this appointment, he was deputy undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for bilateral political affairs and public diplomacy. He was previously ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Israel from 2007 to 2009. Tan joined the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1982. Distance learning involves a lot of work of human assistants. These assistants need to be connected for answering student doubts and questions. Intelligent agents can do part of this repetitive work because they can observe students interacting with educational courses, detect learning troubles of these students, and then suggest them some way for overcoming those troubles.
