Two Column Proofs
This video explains how two column proofs are organized into statement and reason columns. Each statement must be justified in the reason column. Before beginning a two column proof, start by working backwards from the "prove" or "show" statement. Parallel Lines Theorem
This video explains if two lines are intersected by a transversal, then alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, and corresponding angles are congruent. The converse of the theorem is true as well. If two corresponding angles are congruent, then the two lines cut by the transversal must be parallel.
