Leeds Business School opened the fourth year of its CIPR guest lecture series in great style, with Carl Christopher offering a fascinating insight into his vast experiences in the communications industry. The lecture, which took place on Monday 5 October 2009, was the first to be held in the new state of the art business school home, the Rose Bowl.

In May 2006, Dee became the first woman to sail solo, non-stop around the world against the prevailing winds and currents, completing the Aviva Challenge. Having won the 2007 Raymarine YJA Yachtsman of the Year Award, Dee plans to enter the 2008/9 Vendée Globe round-the-world yacht race.
