Run-on sentences are two or more independent clauses that are not joined appropriately. This video demonstrates how to fix a run-on sentence by joining them with a semi-colon, a comma plus a coordinating conjunction, or separating them with a period. (3:35)
Plot is often defined as the structure of a story. This video explains the main components of a plot, including exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. When writing about a plot, it is important to not get stuck retelling it and consider the plot order instead. (3:41)
