Physical education Attitudes I am a year 3 student doing some research into children's attitudes towards particular activities in the PE national curriculum, and was wondering what research there is already in this field. I am looking to base my research in the primary school, and over all age groups from foundation to key stage 2.
Reading Primary
Reading Primary I am doing an action research project on children's experiences of reading in primary school. I am working with Year 5/6 children to gain an insight into how they view the reading process. I have looked in a variety of education journals but I have not found anything that can help me. I would like to know what previous research has been done in this area and what activties I could do with children to gain an understanding of their views. Thanks in advance.

Tests Thinking skills
Tests Thinking skills I am a year 3 student researching the teaching which occurs in classrooms during the run-up to SATs. For example, are we teaching to the test? use of higher order thinking skills, critical thinking, reasoning skills etc. I have found a lot of literature and research on the actual tests, but I haven't had any luck finding literature and research concerning the learning which occurrs during the run up to the tests, the effect that has on the curriculum etc. Can you suggest
Science Primary
Science Primary I need to teach KS2, Year 6 children the Unit 6d, Science - 'Reversible and irreversible changes'. I am focusing upon the last 2 parts of the scheme, where I need to teach a lesson that concentrates upon 'when materials are burned, new materials are formed' AND/OR 'to recognise and assess hazards and risks in burning materials' - I need to teach one of these lessons in a creative, exciting, stimulating way but am at a loss as to how I would begin with a topic like this? KS3/4 Geography - Pupil Feedback via Pupil-Cam
This 15 minute Teachers TV video clip provides an example of pupil voice using a ‘pupil-cam’ to record a year 9 Geography lesson from the pupils’ perspective. Pupils then reflect on qualities of the lesson and provide feedback to the teacher.

Urban ITT: Working with urban schools in challenging contexts (R&DA 2: 17)
The purpose of this project was to contribute to the training of teachers for work in urban schools facing a range of disadvantages.
