This is a key journal for organisational management studies, published by Sage. It addresses significant current and emerging issues, including: globalisation, consumption, law, ecology and organisational space and time. There are six issues per year. Tables of contents can be accessed for free, but a subscription is needed for full access.
Journal of economics and business
This journal has been published by the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka, Croatia, since 1971. Articles deal mainly with economic theory and economic policies. There are also book reviews, conference announcements and invitations to tender. The journal is issued twice a year and contributions are welcomed from any country. Contents lists and full text articles are freely available in PDF (requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader). Articles are in English, with abstracts in Croatian.

An Interactive Online Business Studies Dictionary, from the educational company Online Business Studies. A nice simple dictionary with most basic terms, probably suitable for first year undergraduate students who want to find words in a hurry. It contains terms like 'profit and loss account', 'market share', 'gross pay' and 'depreciation'.
Anthropology of East Europe Review
The Anthropology of East Europe Review (AEER) is published twice a year by the East European Anthropology Group (EEAG), a group that specialises in Central and Eastern Europe, Balkans and the Post-Soviet societies of Europe and Asia. This video focuses on the work of Dr Henry Markram and is produced by Couple 3 Films. In it, Dr Markram describes the first year of the Blue Brain Project, an attempt to build a brain inside a computer. The video is seventeen minutes in length and requires the Adobe Flash player. As a result of the Lord's debate ealier this year (2006) on the impact of scientific research on learning and education, an All Party Group of MPs and peers is to be created concerning the application of science and technology in learning.
Assessment SATs
Assessment SATs I am completing a study on SATs. I am concentrating on what TGAT intended, how these first thoughts have changed and how SATs are completed now. I have found some articles written by Paul Black but am finding it difficult to find articles written by other authors. I am concentrating on Year 2 and Year 6 SATs, however a tutor said that Year 2 SATs have now been abolished, I cannot find any evidence that this is correct.
Supporting learning with ICT in pre school settings (INTERPLAY project)

School starting age I am a 3rd year student at Canterbury Christ Church. I am looking into the difference in starting school between the UK and USA. I have a lot of information on the American side but am stuggling to find information on the reasons children start school at age 4, and the choices parents have on when their children start school. Report of the Teaching and Learning in 2020 Review Group
A major report on personalising teaching and learning was published on 4 January 2007. Launched by Ruth Kelly in March 2006, the Review Group was asked to present a strategic plan for the realisation by 2020 of its vision of personalised learning.
