Cultures of Knowledge is the website of a project funded by the Andrew W Mellon Foundation. The project website is hosted by the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford, whose partners in the project include institutions in the UK; Wales; Hungary; the Czech Republic; and Poland. The aim of the project is to catalogue and edit the Bodleian Library's archives of correspondence of some of the 17th century's leading men of science, and make these widely available to international scholars.
