"Je n'aime pas beaucoup le terme de directeur de la photographie. Au générique, je préfère que soit utilisé le mot "image". Parce qu'il me semble couvrir la somme du travail sur le cadre et la lumière. L'image, c'est le résultat très fragile entre la photo et le cadre, et la conjugaison des deux est le plus difficile à trouver. Ce qui m'énerve le plus, se sont les images dominantes, les clichés visuels de l'époque."
