This seven minute video does a good job of explaining Egypt's history and showing examples of its geography and architecture. Frequent images of the map help place the student, but it would be beneficial if the students had a map of their own to follow the action.
An eight minute illustrated Roman Timeline from 753 B.C to 1453. There is no narration, but the images and written explanation are good and present a picture of what was happening during this time period. A good introduction, but moves too rapidly for students to take notes.

This would make a good video for explaining how that being able to express yourself is believed to be helpful as well as a good video to show how health was a such concern to the Greeks. Would be a nice contrast/compare to television commercials for health products.
This five minute video explains how their gods formed the bases for many of the country's cultural beliefs and events. The gods are explained and their deeds explained. The images are vivid. A good overview for students. The students might benefit from a word wall filled with the names of the gods and their relationships.
