No One Bothered (Story of Homelessness)
This short film chronicles the story of Claire and Darren, a British homeless couple. The couple lives in Bournemouth, England. When they first arrived in the seaside town, they begged for money in order to buy food. Eventually they became registered Big Issue magazine vendors. The Big Issue Foundation is an initiative that gives homeless and vulnerably housed people the opportunity to make a living by selling magazines to passersby. For Darren and Claire, selling The Big Issue is a step up

This short video gives excellent real life, close up footage of a rabbit swimming across a river to shore line. Rabbits are smaller than hares, and have comparatively shorter legs. Males (bucks) and females (does) are similar in appearance, but bucks tend to weigh more and have slightly broader heads. This is a great resource to help build background knowledge and to help make real world connections between nature and the classroom. (0:24)
