Heart Failure Class for Accelerated Bachelors in Nursing (ABSN) Students
This in-class role play highlights RN clinical and leadership skills needed for the translation of heart failure symptom assessment in the long term care setting. A key focus is RNs working with paraprofessional staff. Bedside Clinical Teaching is featured as a leadership strategy for RN delegation and supervison of paraprofessional staff. The in-class simulation prepares RNs to conduct a bedside clinical teaching session in the clinical area.
