A 50 year old female with a Buruli plaque of the left popliteal region was commenced on treatment with combination streptomycin and rifampicin according to WHO guidelines. She did not use any other medication or herbal preparations apart from those mentioned above. Two weeks after start of treatment, she developed a rash that was generalised and itchy. There was no associated fever, respiratory, or abdominal symptoms.
